Hobart® Fabshield® 21B .035" Flux-Cored Welding Wire E71T-11 requires no external shielding gas, making it ideal for welding thin-gauge mild and galvanized steels in all positions. Using DC straight polarity helps reduce the risk of burn-through. While the solid wire ER70S-6 may provide a cleaner bead and less spatter, the E71T-11’s self-shielded design offers cost savings by eliminating the need for shielding gas—especially advantageous for outdoor welding.
